Q: Why do you spray your bows with a fabric stiffener?
Why do you spray your bows with a fabric stiffener?

A: As a mom of 3 little girls, I know how fast they can pull a bow out of their hair and stick it straight in their mouths or twist and crumble it. Fabric stiffener helps prevent the smashed bow look. The bows will feel a little stiff, but it does tend to wear down over time. I want my bows to stay beautiful and full for my girls and I know you do too.

What does it mean "All ribbon ends are heat sealed"?

A: Ribbon will fray if the ends are not heat sealed. Some bow makers use a product called Fray Check, but it tends to wear off and the bows will still fray. I use heat to seal the ends which prevents them from fraying. This method has the longest and best chance of not allowing the ribbon to fray.
